It’s been a while since I actually updated this section and there are so many new things, I can’t even think where to start. I won’t be able to mention everything, but here are the most important ones right now.
In just 2 days I am hosting again the Ultimate Drum Challenge. This is going to be the 3rd edition and I am super excited about it. In case you are not familiar with, it is a 4 day, FREE! virtual event where I invite some of the best drummers, educators in the industry, interview them and we will give some practical steps to improve your playing and mindset as well. The next thing that I am super-super excited about is, the release of my new album; UnStandard. The pre-release is on September 2nd! In January 2021, during COVID, we took the risk and went into the studio to record this album. I’ve got some incredible musicians to accompany me. Marcus Strickland and Dayna Stephens on various saxophones, EWI and bas clarinet, Massimo Biolcati on Bass and yours truly on drums, percussion and vocals 🙂 The album will feature 10 songs, some originals of mine and some jazz standards that I’ve rearranged or sometimes just mashed 2 together.
